After seeing all the hype on Verizon Cell Phones I decided to take the dive and give Verizon’s service a chance. As a long time user of another (un-named) service provider I planned to see what Americas most “reliable” network was about and if it held up to the hype. I went to my local Verizon retailer to decide on a mobile phone. I must tell you they have a great range of phones, while they right now do not offer the iPhone, they do offer some very attractive Android powered mobile phones. I picked the Droid and got it activated. I can say that I am very satisfied with the service and on-line speeds. I at long last have reception in my workplace (at which I had never had any reception before) and my general coverage seems a great deal better with fewer if any dropped calls. So my very first encounter with Verizon wireless phones, well, it is a fantastic 1!
